Roger was a member of the 1978 Kansas State FFA championship team and a member of the 1980 Houston intercollegiate contest where he took high individual in the Jr. College division. Along with this he won top awards at the 1979 Cow Palace, 1979 American Royal and 1979 North American Livestock Expo in Beef, Swine and sheep. He also managed family beef operation producing show steers, heifers, and bulls from 1980 thru 1996 when they turned to a commercial cattle operation. Roger has raised Beef, Swine, Sheep and since 2000 Boer Goats. His 4 children and his nieces and nephews have exhibited local state and national champions in several species. Roger has assisted coaching 4H and FFA teams for over 20 years while working with youth and adults on fitting showing and evaluation of livestock. Roger is willing to travel to judge Beef, Swine and Goat shows on any level. He believes that everyone should walk away from every show with a positive learning experience. With over 40 years of production, judging and showing experience Roger will do a professional quality job of evaluation and sorting with easy to understand concise reasons.
