Whether a county
fair steer or one for the majors a project is only as good as the
program its managed under.
We not only look forward to serving you as our customer but also
building a respectful relationship with colleagues of the industry and
young leaders of tomorrow.
This devotion to our customers has allowed "our kids" to achieve
numerous wins, check out what you have been missing here at Clark Show
Cattle.
Our operation began utilizing artificial insemination
in the spring of 1972 when Jeremy's Grandpa and Father bred their
first cow. Our program stemmed from this. The show portion began in
1989 when Jeremy exhibited his first heifer. We then began
incorporating club calve genetics into the Angus/Simmy based cow herd.
In the early 90s Jeremy's Father attended embryo transfer school and
introduced E.T. work into the operation. Since these two reproduction
practices started, cattle have been kept and culled based on
performance, maternal ability, and fertility.
We met showing
cattle and attended Connors State College together where Jeremy was on
the livestock judging team. We then attended the University of
Arkansas and were on the judging team. During this time Jeremy's
Mother and Father took care of the cows while Andreas Mother and
Father helped us with the show portion of the program and allowed us
to have our first three sales at their place. Andreas
family, owning and operating a row crop and back grounding operation,
has been in the cattle industry for years.
We were married in May of 2002 and have three beautiful girls. This is not
just a business to us, its a way of life that our lively hood is based
around. Therefore, our customers
satisfaction is of the
up-most importance. We hope you will make plans to attend our
next sale. For those who have purchased cattle from us we will do all
we can to make your show season a success .
