Maria holds an assciates degree in animal science from Lakeland community college, where she was a member of the 2009 livestock judging team. She judged on the National barrow show champion team and her team was 2nd at Kansas City and San Antino. Maria is currently working on her B.S. degree at Purdue University where she aslo was a member of the livestock judging team, placing in the top ten in every contest.
Maria has judged cattle, sheep, and goat shows including expo's in Kentucky,Indiana, and Illinios. Along with open steer shows and county fairs. Maria partcipated in 12 years of 4-H showing cattle and goats. She exhibited the champion Maine female at the 2002 Nation Western Stock Show and has raised and fit many champions. She currently runs 50 club calf cows with her dad. Maria has always been pationate about livestock and the youth. Crandell truley loves working with children and evaluating livestock.
