“Cow Power”
remains our principal selection tool at Bainridge, and our 2007 sale
will feature the cows that we have found to be our most consistent –
most tried and most true – over the years. We feel like there is
no better way to kick-off our sixth production sale than to offer these
three exceptional, and seemingly very popular, daughter of our
now-deceased foundation donor, OCC Blackcap 740C. One of the
greatest females we have ever worked with, 740C was a featured donor of
our fifth sale where she sold to Reality Farms, KY, and is a former
Frozen Gold Sale feature as well. She breeds differently – more
size and style and a longer growth curve – than all of the Ohlde cattle
we have worked with and she has proven herself to be an elite producer
in each of the herds she worked in during her lifetime. An
original Blackcap female, her productive dam also produced the popular
AI sires RR Scotchcap 9440 and Northern Improvement, and 740C also
combined a birth weight EPD in the top 1% of active Angus dams with an
extremely desirable phenotype and production record. She joined
the Bainridge donor lineup after selling as the featured Lot 1 donor of
the 2004 Partnership Liquidation Sale at Quaker Hill and Brownwood
Farms, VA, and she was formerly a $25,000 selection from Ohlde Cattle
Company, KS, and her dam was a $35,000 featured 13-year-old donor of the
2001 Dispersal at Shadybrook Farms, TN. Sons of 740C have been
BCIA sale toppers and three daughters have sold for more than $10,000
each. If you believe in pedigrees and you like real performance
that breeds true to kind, make sure you own at least one of these
fabulous daughters – there will not be many – if any - more! The legacy of cow power continues here! Grab hold of at least one of these five daughters of 7X59, one of the most profitable and productive donors ever at Bainridge. 7X59 is a maternal sister to the $12,000 top-seller of our first sale that later produced an $8,000 daughter for her new owners, and furthermore, the dam of 7X59, Rita 3B16 of OFB1 Bando, was an especially productive daughter of Tehama Bando 155 that was a donor for Wehrmann Angus, VA, and later sold for $20,000. We sold two 7X59 daughters in our fourth sale for $5,200 and $3,400, and these five daughters show you the consistent quality that she produces. The Habanero daughters are long fronted, large boned and great haired, and the PHAF/THF daughter by Draft Pick is extra deep, thick, and feminine. Build with the best!
